This class will be a combination of reviewing the fundamental drawing exercises and experimenting with different mediums to draw and create. Students will be encouraged to try different mediums to take their work to a new level. To think outside the box. We will be taking a playful look towards the joys of making art.
This artist-led class consists of four 2-hour sessions, over four consecutive Fridays, starting October 27th 2023, until November 17th 2023.
Supply List
Recommended class materials include:
- Pencils 2H, 4H, HB, 2B, 4B, 6B
- Strathmore Mixed media sketchbook (at least 9×12 in size)
- 1 watercolor brush angular ½
- Watercolor pencils
- Knead eraser x-large
- Blending stumps #3 size
- Ruler
- 3 x Sharpie
- 2 x Posca pens of your choice of color
- Higgins black ink
- Pentel sign pen (water-soluable)
- Charcoal vine
- Stabilo Woody black
- Water-soluble graphite pencil
